Mixhers in Manhattan (with a Times Square Surprise)
Taking HerTime to the Streets
Did you know that Mixhers, the woman-run, woman-focused, women-empowering nutrition brand took to streets of Manhattan, New York early this June?
First, let’s give a little background on Mixhers, just in case you don’t know who they are:
Mixhers is not only pink personified, but they represent a new voice in the world of women's health. They're a super powerful, women-run brand that’s focused on taking down the painful and negative aspects of periods with the help of science-based nutrition. Their flagship product, Hertime, created an entire category of women’s wellness that focuses specifically on hormonal health while combatting the negative symptoms periods can bring. Since the creation of Hertime, Mixhers has expanded their product line to provide women with an even more well-rounded, feminine-focused lineup of nutrition.
But, this is only one side of the Mixhers brand. In addition to their innovative products, they’ve also been able to create a thriving community where women of all ages and backgrounds can feel comfortable, confident, and empowered to share their unique, individual experiences. This community has had the opportunity to learn more about their bodies and hormones, and finally have a platform to discuss topics that society has deemed “taboo.”
This community stretches all over the world and is primarily connected through social media. This is why, on June 11th, 2022, the Mixhers team went Manhattan: for an in-person meet and greet, or more aptly named: a mixhers and mingle. Women that are in the Mixhers community, as well as their friends and family members, had the chance to come and meet the Mixhers team, try some of their amazing products, and share personal experiences they’ve had while enjoying Mixhers’ products.
But, guess what! That’s wasn't all. We, here at Tamarak, put together a little surprise for them to thank them for all the incredible work they've been doing.
We got them a billboard spot in Times Square. How cool is that?
This is the first time a Tamarak portfolio company has ever found its way to the center of the world of commerce and, hopefully, it won’t be the last.
This motion graphic ad, featuring Mixher’s flagship product, Hertime, has a 15-second run time and will be shown around 100 times each day. It could be seen by close to 3.5 million tourists and locals who pass by the billboard, daily. The content of the ad will introduce a new, untapped sector of the market to a product they desperately need. Each time it runs, it’ll bathe time square in Mixhers pink and hopefully bring at least a few new consumers to the world of painless periods.
